Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Jackson Heights, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Was really craving some good food in Jackson Heights after taking the bus from LaGuardia to the subway, and NY Lhasa Liang Fen was the perfect find! Itβs right across from the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue subway station, which made it especially convenient with my luggage. I ordered the Mixed Momo (beef and chive), which was made from scratch. They were hot, fresh, delicious, and not too spicy. The accompanying sauces were VERY spicy for my liking though! πΆοΈ It was the perfect spot to sit down and have a hot meal after a flight, especially with luggage. Great location and fresh, handmade food.

Love love love their pan fried beef momo. So juicy, and their hot sauce that goes with it is so addictive!!! Itβs been a while since Iβve been but still the best momo. I also tried their beef chow mein too. Fave spot
